Our engineers are fully trained and experienced when it comes to leak detection. Using listening devices allows a pinpoint location of leaks and location of water supply pipes quickly and efficiently

It is important to note that though water may be evident on the surface, this does not mean the leak is necessarily located at this point. It is therefore not always possible to locate some leaks using listening devices alone – and excavations may be required.

Leaking plastic pipes are harder to locate as opposed to metal-based pipes as they are quieter. It may be necessary to carry out excavations to allow the length of the pipe to be narrowed to a smaller working site in order to locate the leak.

There are times when we reach difficulties in locating and repairing leaks. If a leak is under a building, we may recommend replacing the whole supply pipe.
